Pink Princess Philodendron
Philodendron erubescens 'pink princess' in nursery pot, available in multiple sizes.
The Pink Princess Philodendron has splendid pink and dark green variegated leaves that are heart shaped. It is identified by large waxy leaves with a burgundy stem that climbs, and needs support, so as the plant grows taller a moss pole, terrace, or board will be needed to add support for this plant.
These leaves can grow up to 9” long and 5” wide. The pinkness on the leaves is due to a lack of chlorophyll—the chemical that makes plants’ leaves green. However, some greenness on the leaves is also necessary so that the plants can photosynthesize.
The Pink Princess enjoys rooms with bright light from a window or grow lamp, or partial sun. Water when the top half of pot is dry, and keep in a tropical soil that is well draining.
This Philodendron is truly rare and unique, producing leaves that are all different in terms of pattern and color. Creating a joyful surprise with each leaf unfurling. Get your Pink Princess Philodendron in the size of your choice and price point and wait to be truly amazed at this plant, time and time again.
NOTICE: The plant you receive may have more or less pink on leaves as pictured. The pink is produced as the plant matures.
