Lace Fern Microlepia strigosa Plant One Gallon Size

Lace Fern is a delicate looking yet sturdy medium-sized fern forms dense clumps 2-3 feet tall that expand slowly by rhizomes. Its leaf blades start a light color and age to medium green and are two feet long by one foot wide with the arching then nodding fronds divided twice (bipinnate).

Lace fern does  best in light shade or morning sun with regular to occasional irrigation - surprisingly water thrifty for a fern and in our coastal garden only gets infrequent irrigation (once every 4 to 6 weeks) during summer months.

This vibrant Lace Fern Microlepia strigosa is a great choice for creating a lush atmosphere in any space. This one gallon size plant will fill up an area with its high-end foliage and a unique upright habit. It doesn't require a lot of care and can grow in various light conditions.

Your plant will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. These have been growing in one gallon containers.  The plants will be between 7 to 10 inches in height with well-developed roots.
