Silver Tree Pilea

Species of the Clearweed Pliea family, it's also known as the pilea spruceana. Popular houseplant that is easy to grow and gets its name from the silvery looking leaves that look like they have been painted with aluminum paint. 

Evergreen perennial in tropical regions, in cooler environments it does exceptionally well as a houseplant. Partial sun to full shade or bright indirect light is great for this plant, as well as moderate watering conditions. Rewater when the top 2 inches of soil have dried out. 

All parts of this plant can be toxic to pets and children. 

Growth is up to 1 foot tall and 8 inches in spread width.
