Quadricolor Agave (1 Gal.)
Agave lophantha Quadricolor Plant One Gallon Size
This Mexican agave is distinguished by its small form and uniquely colorful appearance. While the mid stripes change from lighter to darker shades of green, the variegated yellow or chartreuse marginal stripes are accented with red or purple teeth.
It is best to protect the plant from full summer sun if being grown in warmer climates. Even though the plant will grow at a faster rate with regular summer irrigation, the succulent is able to withstand dry conditions. In fact, the plant should be kept drier during winter months. This is not a solitary agave. It does produce offsets.
You will receive one well rooted plant. Your plant will be shipped with the roots wrapped in damp paper towels and with plastic and ready to plant upon arrival. The plant will be between 8 to 10 inches in height with well-developed roots. These plants have been growing in one gallon containers. Planting guidelines will also be included.
