Peony 'Felix Krause'

The Paeonia Lactiflora 'Felix Krause' - 'Felix Krause' Peony has been named as one of the best red peonies by American gardeners since the 1880's. This is an herbaceous perennial with dark green, ribbed, lance shaped leaves and fragrant, double blooming, deep raspberry red flowers.

Each spring, new deep emerald green leaves emerge, creating a lush, large busy mound lasting well throughout fall. Followed by large, full, double red, ruffled, fragrant blooms on soft stems in mid to late-season.
